Seeking CCP Auditors

The CLPNM is seeking applications from active practising LPNs interested in contributing to the self-regulation of their profession by being appointed to the CLPNM’s pool of Continuing Competence Program (CCP) auditors.

About the Role

CCP auditors review and assess the CCP learning plans and activities of their peers during the annual CCP Audit.

CCP auditors are appointed to the pool of auditors by the CLPNM Board of Directors. Once an auditor is appointed to the pool, the auditor might be scheduled for one or more audit phases, based on their availability. Audits are conducted between the months of January and March each year.

Auditors who are scheduled will have the flexibility to carry out their auditing responsibilities at a time of day that convenient for them during the auditing period. All audits are conducted online through the CLPNM’s registration database. Travel is not required, however, a stable internet connection and access to a reliable computer or tablet is required. Comfort navigating computer applications is also required.

To be eligible for appointment, you must be an active practising LPN in good standing. Those who are appointed will be provided with orientation, training, and an honorarium for the days that they serve in the role.

Please apply by submitting your resume by email to ccp@clpnm.ca by August 16, 2024.   Those appointed will be advised in early October, 2024.

The next audit will be conducted in the months of January, February and March 2025. Auditors will be scheduled in advance, and may accept or decline audit dates depending on their availability.
